I LOOOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE!!! RED STAR WINS EVERYTHING! See all the food I got for a whole 20. AND ITS ALL VEGAN!!! If they were in Chicago I’d be fat af. Service was absolutely stellar and Ling Ling even let us bring in some Lambrusco from the liquor store across the street. Come thru Ling Ling!!! Red Star got me over here shouting and speaking in tongues...

The vegan chicken was excellent! I ordered the vegan sweet and sour chicken and I was super excited this was an option as it was my favorite growing up. I did not ask but it must be textured soy protein and I was shocked at how tasty it was and the generous amount on the plate! The spring roll also had really good flavor. My dad ordered real chicken and broccoli and he loved it! I highly recommend this restaurant. Service was really good too. Our server repeated the orders twice to make sure they were right which is nice because I am always anxious when ordering out as a vegan. Everything came out timely and tasty.
Had an absolutely wonderful meal at Red Star. Only complaint is that I can't come back tomorrow and the next day and the next day. Lots of variety on the menu. DONT JUST DOOR DASH THIS PLACE. The service is fast and fantastic. It's a great place for families to get a great inexpensive meal together.
